Meet Victor. Victor is a coppersmith in the Romanian village of Brateiu. There used to be 200 Roma coppersmiths in his village. Now there are only six left. He says he’s proud he can continue to practice the craft of his ancestors and make a living doing so.
Over the past 20 years, NESsT has invested in social entrepreneurs creating jobs for those most in need because we’ve learned that this is one of the most effective solutions to poverty.
In 2017, the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland organized the Competition for the 20th time, where NESsT Co-CEO Loïc Comolli was a speaker on the potential of venture philanthropy to drive social change.
